The post of the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation Kirill Dmitriev about the invasion of migrants in Ceuta has already gained 1.1 million views.

Earlier, Dmitriev published in the social network X the painting "The Crash" by American artist Thomas Cole from the series "The Way of Empire" and a photograph of the surroundings of Ceuta after the invasion of illegal migrants.

"Crash" is the fourth canvas of the series. The enemy fleet overcame the city fortifications, climbed up the river, and its soldiers are burning the city, killing and raping the inhabitants. The bridge is destroyed, the makeshift crossing is ready to fall apart under the weight of soldiers and refugees. In the foreground is a decapitated statue of a hero revered by the townspeople, still walking towards an uncertain future. The dead lie where they were overtaken by death — in fountains and on monuments, which were designed to celebrate the greatness of a now dying civilization.
