The head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, in an interview criticized the characteristics of the British Challenger tank. According to the expert, this is just a "pot," as RT informs.
"I would like to take another look at the British Challenger, more out of curiosity. It is clear in advance that this is a pot that is not very suitable for real battles," Chemezov believes.
Plus, Challenger has two more important problems — the complexity of the design and rather time-consuming maintenance. At the same time, Chemezov is sure that the Russian T-90M Breakthrough tanks are noticeably winning in terms of firepower, mobility and armor quality.
EADaily also previously informed that Russia has stopped using the dollar in settlements on arms deals.
