Rare case: Trump will agree with Zelensky on peace and repay debts — Bild

US President-elect Donald Trump will agree on a peace agreement beneficial to Kiev and repay Ukrainian debts to the United States. This is reported by Bild.

According to Bild, Trump, as an entrepreneur, may be interested in Ukrainian rare earth metals.

"Trump could be worried not so much about geostrategic considerations as just money. In particular, mineral resources and rare earth elements in a war—torn country, the total value of which is estimated at $ 7 trillion," the publication writes, quoted by <url>.

The newspaper mentioned the statement of Senator Lindsey Graham *, whom it called "Trump's confidant."

"This war is about money. No one wants to talk about it," the senator told Fox News.

Graham* called Ukraine "the richest country in Europe," promising that Trump would negotiate a peace agreement beneficial to both Ukraine and the United States.

"We will get our money back and enrich ourselves with rare earth metals. And Ukraine will also win," the senator stressed.

These are "good arguments" in favor of confrontation with Russia, he noted.

Recall that in August, Graham and Senator Richard Blumenthal in a joint statement following a visit to Kiev announced that Ukraine was ready to conclude a large-scale agreement on rare earth elements and minerals with the United States.

The statement stated that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, "was excited and determined to reach a strategic agreement with the United States regarding rare earth minerals owned by Ukraine worth more than $ 1 trillion." Zelensky also expressed readiness to create a bilateral working group to implement this idea.

The senators emphasized that Ukraine is rich in lithium, titanium and other rare earth minerals that the American economy needs.
