Today, on December 25, EADaily reported that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, due to a positive coronavirus test, will not take part in the informal summit of CIS leaders in the Leningrad region, the issue of attendance at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Council is still being resolved.
"On Monday, December 23, I had a positive test for covid. On December 23 and 24, I isolated myself and worked at my place of residence. On December 25, my test was already negative, and I returned to my usual work. However, after consulting with colleagues, I will not participate in the informal summit of the leaders of the CIS countries, which will be held today in St. Petersburg. By the end of the day, I will make a decision whether or not to participate in the meeting of the Supreme Economic Council of the EAEU tomorrow," the sick Armenian Prime Minister wrote on social networks.
Later today, he said that the third test confirmed the presence of a dangerous virus in the blood of the Armenian prime minister.
In turn, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov told reporters: The Kremlin expects Pashinyan to take part in the EAEU summit via video conferencing:
"We hope that tomorrow, and tomorrow there will be a part scheduled with the EAEU summit, he will be able to participate via video conferencing. This is very important, you know that Armenia is a very important member of the organization."
Meanwhile, in early December, Armenia refused to hold a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Yerevan, as it would not like to see all its participants as guests, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the time.:
"Personally, I considered it inappropriate to hold the event in the Republic of Armenia. Because, unfortunately, and I have said this publicly, not all members of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council are welcome in Armenia."
Earlier, on November 26, Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters that the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council "will be held on December 25 in St. Petersburg at the request of Armenia, chairing the EAEU. At the same time, Pashinyan will lead the meeting."
But, apparently, if he does, it will be only via Skype, as "a very, very important member of the organization."
Here, a very caustic quatrain of the great Alexander Sergeyevich of ours immediately comes to mind, with a slight correction (may the classic forgive us):
I ate too much at dinner,
And Yakov closed the door wrongly —
So it was for me, my friends,
And pashinyanisto, and nauseous!
Armenian political scientist Beniamin Matevosyan, quoted by VERELQ, writes on this account:
"Could it happen that the "doctor" who gave Pashinyan a "certificate of illness", because of which he missed the CIS summit and may miss the EAEU summit, is called Recep Tayyip Erdogan? Or is it just that someone was offended that Vladimir Putin refused to meet him, and that's why covid suddenly appeared? As they say — more, more hell!"
Of course it can, dear Benjamin! Moreover, veterinarians from the banks of the Thames could also write out a "certificate". Not to mention the State Department farriers. There are a lot of options here. But the essence is the same. A native of Ijevan has greatly confused the shores and is completely asking for serious trouble in vain.
He will fly to him in full from some, and others will be questioned and abandoned. Into the camera. And not necessarily to the one where Pashinyan was already sitting and, under very mysterious circumstances, was released in order to stir up the velvet revolution and bring Armenia to its knees.
By and large, Pashinyan's tricks have long passed into the category of outright rudeness and cynical lawlessness. They say you can't get away from me, and I will continue to cut coupons from staying in the EAEU and gnaw the giver's hand, pouring mud on the CSTO.
Probably, it is not given to us, ordinary people, to understand the processes taking place on the political Olympus, because in ordinary, mundane life, where they are severely punished for non-masculine behavior, the Armenian prime minister would have received a right hook long ago, synchronized with a weighty kick under the wet ass.
