Islamists with axes attacked a Christmas tree that decorated the campus of Istanbul Sabahattin Zima University in the Kucukcekmece district. This is reported by Haberler.com .
"With the approach of 2025, many municipalities wishing to convey the spirit of the New Year have begun to decorate the streets with trees and lights… The decorated Christmas tree, installed by the municipality of Kucukcekmece on the square, was attacked with an axe by people with their faces covered," the note says.
It is noted that one of the eyewitnesses recorded the moment of the attack on the camera of his mobile phone.
