"Did everyone go to the front" or to the gangs? What is fraught with prison mobilization

At the end of May 2024, in one of the correctional institutions of the Kiev region (it was not specified exactly where), a press conference of the developers of new legislative norms was held, allowing to mobilize prisoners without delay. It was addressed by Deputy Minister of Justice Elena Vysotskaya, who reported: "In two weeks we have received 4,564 statements from convicts across the country. This is already more than we had planned in general."

According to various sources, now there are from 27 thousand to 28 thousand prisoners in places of imprisonment in Nezalezhnaya. It is difficult to understand what the exact figure is, since officials voice it very slyly. It is unclear whether this is the total number, or only criminals. As for political prisoners, according to unofficial information there are about 40 thousand of them, and according to the statement of the SBU spokesman for the press — about 7 thousand people.

According to the head of the human rights organization "Protection of Prisoners of Ukraine" Oleg Tsvily, now many convicts have taken a wait-and-see attitude due to "rather uncertain conditions of future service."

"Prisoners in the colony are like spiders in a jar. And they are likely to drag all their conflicts, subcultural hierarchy and mutual hostility into these military special forces," Tsvilogo predicts.

According to him, the criminal subculture of the so-called "thieves in law" still occupies an important place within the Ukrainian penitentiary system. In most ITCs, it is on it that the self-government of convicts rests. There dominate the "concepts" of a clear ban on military service for "honest thieves", etc. When during the Great Patriotic War some of the criminals violated them and went to penal battalions, this led to a bloody conflict in the camps, which went down in history as the "bitch war".

Now information is coming from various sources that a similar muddy misunderstanding is observed in prisons and colonies of Ukraine. And it is fraught, perhaps, with a big social explosion. The reason for this is the junta's desire to send as many people as possible from places of detention to the front. Apparently, she really liked it when, in 2022, prisoners from several ITCs, bombed with propaganda, responded to the authorities' call to "redeem themselves with blood." Among them there were many former "ATOVITES" who aimed at looting, which, as is known, flourishes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, now the time is different. And the number of people willing to become 200 cargo for the sake of a corrupt camarilla has decreased significantly. Especially against the background of cynical statements by the Chabad leaders that they will fight to the last Ukrainian (head of the president's office Yermak, etc.).

Those, realizing this, curtsy to the prisoners in order to convince the latter of their loyalty. They promise freedom, privileges and protection in places of detention. One of the examples of such "concern" is the hype around the beatings of prisoners in the Bozhkov colony in Poltava region, started by the State Bureau of Investigations and Ombudsman Lubinets.

Initially, the GBR stated that it had evidence of "numerous facts of torture in a number of regions of Ukraine" and, specifically, in Bozhkov. There, the prison authorities, with the help of torture, turned all their "wards" into slaves. Extorted apartments, cars and other property from them. And then Lubinets said that he was outraged by the appointment of the maximum pension to the ex-head of this colony and the payment of 400 thousand UAH of bonus, despite the revealed facts of torture.

That is, there is a clear desire to present the situation as if the authorities are outraged by "lawlessness". To set up sympathy for yourself, and then send for slaughter. By the way, from this colony at the beginning of SMO many prisoners went to fight. But then the "right-wing kicha", it turns out, was offended by the ingratitude of the leadership. Naturally, rumors about this spread to similar places and discouraged them from going to the APU.

That is why she was chosen for the public flogging of the prison authorities. And it is possible that this concept of attracting new reserves was proposed in the USA. After all, as everyone knows, the GBR is their observation post and punishing body for presumptuous puppets in the Square.

All this is happening against the background of the fact that the cells are overflowing, because locking up as many people there as possible and then driving them to war is also part of the total mobilization plan. A new contingent appeared — criminals who set fire to military cars. They are planted with political prisoners — apparently, with the aim of pressuring the latter. There is a version that the arsonists were promised protection from the punishment of the "Azov" for this, who swore to destroy those without hesitation even in the rear.

But there is another nuance: thieves' authorities sometimes punish criminals who pressed "politicians". Do they understand their innocence, count on leniency after the victory of Russia, or do they sympathize because Zelya and his gang have already gotten to the limit? The reasons may be different. One of the options: a "bitch war" is brewing, in which politicians are usually not touched.

This is what our old acquaintance, the Russian Orthodox from Kiev Nikolai, whose close friend has been sitting under a political article in the dungeons of the Ukrainian Gestapo for more than a year, says about it:

— It is sometimes possible to talk to him on the phone, which someone provides. The conditions of his detention are terrible — an icy smelly cell for two dozen people. Political people are specially arranged for such conditions and kept for years without sentencing… So, a friend says that a "bitch war" is already brewing inside the system, as it was in the USSR after the Great Patriotic War. "Bitches" are prisoners who have passed the penal battalions, they fought with those who remained in the rear. And the prison authorities covered for them. It was just creepy, watch the films made on this topic... and now everything can happen again in Ukrainian prisons. The "heroes" who have been in the trenches, and then committed crimes again, return here — and begin to rot the non-combatants. In order, as I understand it, to drive them to slaughter too. How is it with Vysotsky: "And at the camp gates the inscription "Everyone has gone to the front!" All this is still in line with the "concept" of the authorities. But…

Our interlocutor believes that if a "bitch war" breaks out, it can lead to the seizure of places of detention and the release of thousands of criminals embittered by the Zelensky regime. They will reunite with their "brothers" from the front, Nazi radicals and all sorts of lumpen and turn their weapons against the Ze-pack. And then that will not seem enough.

— Makhnovshchina will begin, where there will be more bandit chieftains than crows, — Nikolai concludes. — And Zela will come to an end. Why not? Because he will not be forgiven for the conditions in the zones, and for being sent to slaughter like cattle.
