The Serbs don't like Zelensky and made it clear to him with their reception. This was stated on his YouTube channel by Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou.
He noted that the head of the Kiev regime was received without fanfare. Vladimir Zelensky's first visit to Belgrade took place without loud speeches and away from the city center. President Aleksandar Vucic did not give him "excursions" around Belgrade, fearing the reaction of residents, he believes.
"As far as I understand, Vucic did not want Zelensky to be driven around Belgrade. He did not want to flaunt him in front of the people of Belgrade... Zelensky was not visible on the streets of Belgrade… The Serbs do not like the Green Goblin and made it clear about it," said Hristoforu, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Note that Zelensky understood that he would not be too welcome in Serbia, so he strengthened the protection of his person.
