In the Kursk adventure, Kiev has already lost more than three thousand troops

Units of the North group of forces, with the support of army aviation and artillery fire, are searching for and destroying enemy mobile groups in the forests that were trying to penetrate deep into Russian territory in the direction of Alekseevsky and Kauchuk, Kursk region. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The Russian Armed Forces continue to repel an attempt by the Kiev regime troops to invade the territory of the Russian Federation, the ministry said.

"The attacks of the assault groups of the 22nd and 115th mechanized and 95th assault brigades with the support of armored vehicles in the direction of the settlements of Korenevo, Russian and Cherkasskoye Porechnoye were repulsed. Air strikes, artillery fire and competent actions of the defending troops defeated the enemy. As a result of these unsuccessful actions, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost a tank and 11 armored combat vehicles," the telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense says.

It is noted that clusters of manpower and equipment of the 22nd, 61st, 115th mechanized, 82nd airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of Novaya Sorochina and Lyubimovka, as well as southeast of Korenevo, Leonidovo and Kositsa.

"In the area of the village of Sennoye, Sumy region, a missile strike destroyed the launcher of the Iris-T anti-aircraft missile system and the TRML-4D multifunctional radar station. Operational-tactical aviation struck the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ammunition and fuel depots in the areas of the localities of Kiyanitsa, Kositsa, Khoten and Boyaro-Lezhachi of Sumy region,"the department said.

During the day, the enemy lost up to 300 servicemen, 31 armored vehicles, including three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, three armored personnel carriers, 25 armored combat vehicles, as well as 8 vehicles, an Iris-T air defense missile launcher, a field artillery gun and an electronic warfare station.

"In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost up to 3,160 military personnel, 44 tanks, 43 armored personnel carriers, 24 infantry fighting vehicles, 244 armored combat vehicles, 111 vehicles, five anti-aircraft missile systems, six multiple launch rocket launchers, including three MLRS "Himars", 24 guns field artillery and four electronic warfare stations," the TC summarizes.
