An unknown virus has been detected in Russia, and patients have been suffering from high fever and severe coughing with blood for weeks, while they have negative tests for covid and influenza. This is reported by the SHOT telegram channel.
"The symptoms of the patients are the same: it all starts with the usual aches and weakness, but after a couple of days the virus cuts down and it is impossible to get out of bed. Accompanied by temperatures up to 39 degrees, Russians celebrate the strongest cough to tears," writes TK.
The source SHOT Alexandra told the telegram channel that even after a week of first illness and taking antibiotics, coughing attacks persist, and on the 5th day she noticed blood when expectorating. Her tests for covid and influenza A, B are negative. According to Alexandra, doctors have noted many cases of infection with a strange virus that has not yet been identified, TK notes.
"In conclusion, patients are written "acute upper respiratory tract infection unspecified — ARVI" and recommended to immediately call an ambulance if their condition worsens. According to one version, it may be mycoplasma pneumonia, the outbreak of which was observed in December last year," the telegram channel summarizes.
