The company clarified that the gas that will go through the territory of Ukraine does not have to be Russian, it can be, for example, Azerbaijani.

Recall, Ukraine has stopped the transit of Russian gas through its territory since the beginning of the year. Since February 1, Gazprom has started supplying gas to the largest Slovak energy operator SPP via the Turkish Stream. Deliveries are expected to double from April. At the same time, earlier in Bratislava stated that the damage to Slovakia from the loss of the opportunity to transit gas to other countries The EU will be about 500 million euros annually.
