The mechanic-driver of the T-80BVM tank of the 5th Guards Tank Brigade from the Vostok group of forces managed to capture the Ukrainian military, defeating him in hand-to-hand combat.
According to TASS, the incident occurred near the settlement of Skudnoye in the south of the DPR. At some point, the car hit a mine. The crew left her and dispersed. The mechvod with the call sign Max went to a dilapidated building where it was possible to hide from drones and clarify the route on the map.
However, there was a Ukrainian Armed Forces observer in a disguised position in the building. He pointed a machine gun at our tanker and reported the situation to his command by radio. The answer came from there that the situation with the prisoner should be "solved by yourself."
"He told me to go. Apparently, in order not to spoil the air in my bed, but to shoot me away from my position. I would have left, and he shot me in the back," the tankman suggested.
Fortunately for him, the enemy's automatic shutter jammed, our military took advantage of the situation and threw a piece of concrete into the enemy's face, which came to hand.
In the ensuing hand-to-hand combat, the Russian tankman won and captured the APU-shnik himself. During the interrogation, he later stated that he was not going to shoot at the Russian fighter, he only planned to scare him.
Earlier, EADaily reported that a captured Ukrainian soldier was found to have a questionnaire from a Canadian clinic for "voluntary consent" for organ transplantation during an inspection.
