Only US President Donald Trump can mediate between Ukraine and Russia. This was announced by Finnish President Alexander Stubb in an interview with Fox Business.
"He (Trump) is probably the only person in the world who can mediate peace between Ukraine and Russia. Why not? Because (Russian President Vladimir Putin) Putin respects and in many ways fears Donald Trump," Stubb said, quoted by RBC — Ukraine.
Stubb said this after an unofficial visit to Florida, where he talked with Trump.
As reported by EADaily, the presidents of the United States and Finland, Donald Trump and Alexander Stubb, during the latter's unofficial visit to Florida, discussed the upcoming purchase of icebreakers by the United States to strengthen influence in The Arctic. Trump wrote about this on the Truth Social network.
The meeting was held at a golf club owned by Trump, where the leaders of the United States and Finland discussed bilateral partnership, the Ukrainian conflict and played a round of golf.
