Escaped from Russian stand-up comedian and TV presenter Mikhail Shats told who he considers himself to be after almost three years of living outside the Russian Federation. He said this in a recent interview.

"I guess I'm still an Israeli now, although I think and turn my eyes, of course, to Russia too," said the comedian.

At the same time, Schatz stressed that it was impossible to say about his indifference to his native country.

"Therefore, it's more like this — now I'm an Israeli, but with big strong Russian roots," the comedian concluded.

As reported by EADaily, earlier Schatz said that he would find a use for himself in Israel even if he ceases to be a humorist.

"I have a half-forgotten specialty of a doctor, just in case. I can say for sure that I will work as an orderly here in Israel, I am sure of it, and I will quickly join this movement," the comedian said.

He added that working as a taxi driver would be the embodiment of his childhood dream.
