In the south of Thailand, a boat exploded, on board of which there were tourists from Russia and Kazakhstan. This is reported by Sputnik Kazakhstan with reference to local news portals.
According to widespread information, an emergency occurred near the island of Maiton, Phuket province. There were 31 people on the boat.
According to a police spokesman, at the time of the incident, 30 tourists were in the water. There was one Russian tourist on board the ship who suffered burns. He was taken to the hospital.
The remaining 30 tourists were not injured and returned safely to their hotels.
