Belarusian customs officers at the Molodechno station found an American in a freight car who illegally arrived from Lithuania. This is reported by the State Customs Committee of Belarus.

"When performing border control functions at the Molodechno railway station, Minsk customs officers identified a border violator. A 27-year—old US citizen was traveling from Lithuania in one of the empty wagons of the Ken— Molodechno railway train," the official telegram channel of the department said.

It is noted that the violator was detained by an alarming group of customs in cooperation with employees of the Molodechno district Police Department and the paramilitary guard of the Belarusian Railways. For further proceedings, he was transferred to the border service authorities.

Recall, today it was reported that three of the four US Army servicemen were found dead in Lithuania, whose car drowned in a swamp last Wednesday during an exercise and was recovered today. The circumstances of their deaths have not yet been publicized. It was noted that the fourth is wanted. Some media outlets have suggested that the American detained in Molodechno may be a missing soldier, especially since the scene of the tragedy is located near the Belarusian border.
