Ukrainian human rights activist, director of the Institute for the Study of the Consequences of the War in Ukraine Kirill Molchanov was arrested in Poland and deported to Kiev.
The arrest was announced by Molchanov's colleague Dmitry Vasilets.:
"Kirill was engaged in systematically informing MEPs and Bundestag deputies about the facts of human rights violations, publicly spoke on these topics in various media, as a blogger ran a channel on YouTube and other social networks."
According to Vasilets, as a sign of gratitude for his human rights work, Bundestag deputies invited Molchanov to Berlin to present a prize and a grant for his systematic work in the protection of human rights, but the Poles, at the request of Zelensky's authorities, "worked out the agenda of repression."
EADaily adds that a month ago Molchanov, in an interview with the Waldman-Line channel, stated:
"We know that Zelensky said that he would leave his post voluntarily when Ukraine joins NATO and The European Union. Well, that is, never. He wants to rule indefinitely, because for him war is not only an opportunity to do what he loves, that is, PR and self—admiration, but also a way, by and large, to get away from any responsibility for what he has done over the years. And plus a way of unlimited enrichment at the expense of endless funding, which we see from the West."
