We got to the old ladies: they intend to interrogate a 103-year-old war veteran in Yerevan

A court in Armenia will interrogate 103-year-old participant of the Great Patriotic War Rosalia Abgaryan in the case of Gohar Gumashyan, a representative of the opposition Strong Armenia party. This was reported by the online edition yerkir.am .

The case was initiated on charges of violating the ban on charity during the pre-election period. The actions of the Yerevan court and the Armenian authorities were commented on by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"It is difficult to find more vivid evidence of the kind of moral and spiritual decay that rapprochement with modern faceless, morally impoverished Europe and fraternization with the neo—Nazi Kiev regime leads to," Zakharova said in a comment on the agency's website. "We cannot but consider this message in isolation from the series of events and steps of Yerevan, which look like a mockery of the common history and memory."

She recalled that Armenian politicians did not find the courage to besiege Vladimir Zelensky when he was in Yerevan threatened to strike at the parade on May 9 in Moscow.

"No one has forgotten that the "sovereign" politicians and officials of the republic did not find the courage to besiege Zelensky, who threatened to attack the Victory Parade on Red Square from the Armenian capital," the Russian Foreign Ministry said on its website.
