Spain predicted disaster due to a solar eclipse

The arrival of masses of people in Spain to observe the solar eclipse can provoke new forest fires. This is reported by The Guardian newspaper.

It is noted that about 460,000 people may arrive in Northern Spain, as the location will become one of the best places in the world to observe the solar eclipse. According to Environment Minister Sara Aagesen, now the vegetation in the country is very dry due to the hot weather, "and the slightest spark or carelessness can lead to devastating forest fires."

Earlier, the Spanish police reported that about 1.5 million additional car trips are expected on Wednesday, and there are concerns that such a volume of traffic could block access for emergency vehicles in the event of fires in rural areas. Therefore, parking on roadsides or near dry vegetation, as well as the use of barbecues and fireworks will be prohibited.
