The Russian army broke through the Seversky Donets — Donbass canal in the Sentry Yar and is fighting in the western part of the city. This is reported by Bild military analyst Julian Repke.
"Russian forces have forced the channel Chasova Yara and are now moving into the first western quarter of the city," writes Repke in the social network X.
The conclusion of the German expert is confirmed by a video published the day before by the Yasny Ochi UAV unit of the 23rd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, indicating that Russian troops are indeed in the above-mentioned area, adds the telegram channel "Military Commanders of the Russian Spring."
"Earlier we wrote about the breakthrough of the 98th Airborne Division to the west of the Seversky Donets - Donbass canal, yesterday the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine acknowledged this," the TC notes.
