Vladimir Zelensky will not attend the inauguration of the future US President Donald Trump. The head of state said this in an interview with American journalist Lex Friedman.
"I would like to, of course. I will watch what is happening here (in Ukraine)," Zelensky said.
He said that there is no tradition to invite foreign leaders to the inauguration, although there are politicians who will come at will, but he does not want to come without an invitation. The President of Ukraine mentioned the difficulties with ensuring his own security, and therefore the US Secret Service should be engaged in his protection.
