Russian rower-kayaker, participant of the Olympic Games Kirill Lyapunov was brutally beaten in the center of Moscow. This is reported by the Shot telegram channel.
"Last Friday night, Kirill Lyapunov, a 38-year-old rower-kayaker, came to the capital's hospital with terrible injuries with difficulty on his own. He was diagnosed with a fracture of the cheekbone and eye socket and numerous bruises of the eyes, eyelids and face. The athlete was hospitalized in the department of maxillofacial surgery, "the report said.
The man, before losing consciousness, said that he was beaten by unknown people on Tverskaya Street. Lyapunov could not name the number of attackers.
The police have opened a criminal case, the identity of the attackers is being established.
