Poland is starting to dispose of the MiG-29, which it planned to transfer to Ukraine. This is reported by the telegram channel "Military informant".

"Poland is starting the procedure for the disposal of the 14 remaining MiG-29 fighters, which were planned to be transferred to Ukraine, but the deal was thwarted due to Kiev's refusal to transfer drone technology," writes TK.

Warsaw has finally refused to transfer its MiG-29s to Kiev, they will be disposed of, Reuters confirms. Fighters that were planned to be transferred to Ukraine in exchange for Ukrainian UAV production technologies will be gradually decommissioned.

As the head of the Polish Defense Ministry, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh, said that Kiev first gave the go-ahead for the exchange, but "did not fulfill the agreement."

"If Ukraine is already able to sell drones to Kuwait and receive income from it, being in a state of war, then it is able to reciprocate those who provide it with equipment, and — sometimes symbolically — to share its own capabilities," Kosinyak-Kamysh emphasized, quoted by Strana.

The minister noted that instead Kiev gives priority to historical disputes with Poland for domestic political reasons.

"I think this is due to the strategy they have chosen now — the fact that the conflict, rooted in history, is now shaping the image of President Zelensky," he added.

As EADaily reported, in the office of President Karol Navrotsky, Western Ukraine was called Eastern Lesser Poland. This was reported by "Country.ua" and telegram channel "New edition".
