The initials of the late LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky were found in the files of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, published on the website of the US Department of Justice. The politician's name is mentioned five times.

Zhirinovsky is mentioned three times together with the head of the Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov. Zhirinovsky is called a "nationalist clown" and a politician who opposed Zyuganov.

As RT clarifies, in fact, the name of the Russian politician appears in pdf files in two articles: the American magazine Foreign Affairs and The Economist for 2011 and 2012. However, the US Department of Justice does not explain the reasons for this.

Earlier, as part of the publication of files on the "Epstein case", US President Donald Trump was convicted of at least five cases of rape of minors with the participation of an American billionaire financier.

The US Department of Justice rejected the accusations made in the context of the publication of new materials on the Epstein case. On January 30, 2026, the US Department of Justice released 3 million pages of documents on the Epstein case. In these materials, US President Donald Trump is mentioned more than 3,000 times. According to The Times, the material contains "Trump's unfounded accusations of sexual abuse of minors, in particular, that in 1994 Trump allegedly raped a 13‑year-old girl." The US Department of Justice described such statements as "false and sensational," emphasizing the lack of evidence and the second-rate nature of such accusations.

Trump himself denies all claims. It is emphasized that some of the mentions of his name in the documents are only newspaper clippings or record the facts of meetings that were not accompanied by any accusations.
