The French edition of Le Monde published a material stating that the Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missile is equipped with a guidance system manufactured by Safran Electronics & Defense (France).
According to the newspaper, the relevant information was made public by the Ukrainian side during the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition. Safran confirmed this fact, specifying that the integration of the system was completed more than a year ago.
Plus, the French announced their participation in the development of other products together with the Ukrainian company Fire Point. Thus, through its subsidiary structure, Preligens Safran continues to supply Kiev with navigation equipment, optoelectronic devices, anti-unmanned aerial vehicles and intelligence analysis services.
