The famous British journalist Danny Armstrong, who moved to Russia, admitted that he began to feel like a stranger in his homeland. He told about this in the project "Us and them", the release of which is available on RuTube.
Armstrong recalls that in He was immediately warmly received in Russia, as they appreciated his interest in Russian culture and knowledge of the language. At the same time, when he returned to his homeland, he noticed that the attitude of his former compatriots towards him began to deteriorate. He called the gradual process of his own Russification the reason for this situation.
"I felt like a stranger there. They saw me as a Russian," Armstrong said about his British acquaintances.
