Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic unexpectedly flew to UAE to meet with the country's President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This was announced by the Serbian leader himself on his page in one of the social networks.
"I expressed the strongest condemnation of the attacks on the UAE in these difficult and disturbing circumstances. At a time when the Middle East is facing serious challenges, and the consequences of conflicts and instability have far exceeded the borders of the region, it is important to show support to friends and responsibility in the search for peace and stability," Vucic said.
He also noted that his visit was not publicly announced, and the conversation was many hours long.
Recall, after the attack by Israel and the United States on Iran on February 28, Vucic discussed escalation in the Middle East and global security by phone with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Then he wished to achieve peace in the Middle East region as soon as possible.
