A mass brawl occurred near Lake Ritsa in Abkhazia

A mass brawl occurred on August 29 at Lake Ritsa. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Abkhazia is conducting an inspection.

The fight broke out in the cafe "Grotto". Its participants — a Muscovite and his brother — had soft tissue bruises and a concussion.

"The Department of Inquiry of the Department of Internal Affairs in the Gudauta district is conducting a procedural check on the application of a resident of Moscow, born in 1988, temporarily staying in the Republic of Abkhazia. According to preliminary data, the applicant and his family members were part of an excursion group on Lake Ritsa on August 26 of this year. As a result of the fight that took place in the Grotto cafe, a man and his brother were injured in the form of soft tissue bruises and brain concussion, which was recorded in the Central Hospital of the Gudauta district," the report says.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs interrogates witnesses, a procedural check is carried out. Operational search activities are underway to identify and detain all participants in the fight.
