The Transcaucasian highway linking South Ossetia with Russia is closed for the movement of vehicles in both directions from 19.00 on August 29 until further notice.
The ban was introduced in connection with the gathering of mudflows on the highway, the impossibility of ensuring the safety of vehicles, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia reported.
