The vice-rector of MGIMO and her son were put on the wanted list in the case of major fraud

Doctor of Economics, MGIMO Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs Natalia Kuzmina and her son Enver Kuzmin are wanted in a criminal case of fraud on a particularly large scale. This is reported by the RBC portal, citing sources close to the investigation.

According to the publication, Kuzmina and her son organized a scheme for the alienation of property in the elite residential complex Knightsbridge Private Park in the center of Moscow. Both defendants have already been charged in absentia.

It is noted that Kuzmina and her son are outside of Russia, and they do not recognize guilt in the alleged crime.

"We do not recognize the charges and consider them unfounded. To date, we do not understand either the legal logic or the grounds for transferring this situation to the criminal legal plane," Kuzmina's son told the publication.

The indictment refers to about 80 premises, some of which are used for the operation of the house and the placement of engineering equipment. According to investigators, these objects were supposed to be in the common ownership of the owners of apartments in the residential complex, but they were transferred to private ownership and subsequently alienated.

It is also clarified that Enver Kuzmin was previously the CEO of Restoration H, which was engaged in the construction of Knightsbridge Private Park.
