In Belarus, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Sergei Maslyak is in jail on charges of bribery. This was announced today, March 12, by Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting on measures to eliminate unjustified and unfair mediation.
"He was caught red-handed. I warned you that we don't grab anyone on the street there. Shved (chairman of the Supreme Court and former Prosecutor General of Belarus Andrei Shved — EADaily), and now Dmitry Yurievich Mountain is tightly controlled. If necessary, they will report," he said.
According to him, "no one takes anyone for nothing."
"If you are guilty, go and answer," Lukashenko stressed.
He also noted that law enforcement agencies in Belarus have enough opportunities to identify such facts.
"Take the "gills" on a bribe — that's it, the conversation is over. That's what happened," the Belarusian leader said.
Alexander Lukashenko once again stressed that it is impossible to hide such facts, even if it seems that it happened.
"Do not meddle in someone else's, do not touch! Corruption is not just rust, as I said before. This is war. It's based on this terrible corruption," he stressed.
