Hypocritical France should not tell the world about human rights. This statement was made by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
"Countries like France should stop preaching to the whole world about 'human rights' and international law. This hypocrisy is obvious and shameful. Your support for the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza and the aggression against Iran have destroyed all the moral principles that you might have imagined," the diplomat wrote on his page on the social network.
The publication came after France and more than 30 other countries, including the UK, Canada and EU countries, issued a joint statement condemning Iran.
They called on Tehran to stop executions, release arbitrarily detained and ensure respect for human rights.
