Kyrgyzstan has announced the launch of production of its own brand of cars. This is reported by the Kabar agency.

The Government of the republic announced that the country's automobile cluster is three-quarters ready and plans to start work in the third quarter of this year.

The company intends to produce passenger, commercial and specialized vehicles, including electric vehicles.

It is planned to produce 10 thousand cars a year. The bulk of the products will be sold on the domestic market. In addition, some of the machines will be exported to the countries of Central Asia and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The cars will be produced under the national brand BARS.
