The Russian-American settlement plan for the Ukrainian conflict is actually a capitulation of Ukraine. This was stated in the social network X by The Financial Times journalist Christopher Miller.
"I can confirm that the American-Russian proposal promoted to the Ukrainians through Dmitriev—Witkoff to Umerov is hasty. It actually means the capitulation of Ukraine and, according to informed persons, represents only the maximalist demands of the Kremlin. Includes: halving of the Ukrainian army; surrender of certain types of weapons; surrender of Donbass. Zelensky is unhappy," Miller writes, quoted by Pool No. 3.
"Well, that's it. And in return, he won't sit down," opposition Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Shariy comments on the picture of the day, referring, apparently, to the head of the NSDC Rustem Umerov.
Meanwhile, The Financial Times newspaper reports, citing a source familiar with the negotiations, that, according to the Russian-American conflict settlement plan, the Russian language should be Ukraine has an official state status. Another condition is the restoration of the official status of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC).
"The document also calls on Ukraine to abandon key categories of weapons and provides for the curtailment of US military assistance," the publication says.
As reported by EADaily, Umerov wants to testify to the FBI against the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and the head of his office, Andrei Ermak.
As reported by EADaily, the United States did not hand over to Russia a new draft peace agreement with Ukraine. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova. So she commented on the relevant media reports.
