The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue a complex operation to oust Russian forces from Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk). This was stated in social networks by commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky.

He reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding Pokrovsk and Mirnograd and continue to "liberate and clean up the territory" on the Dobropolsky ledge.

"Pokrovsk — we hold it. Mirnograd — we hold it. In the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration, our soldiers have to restrain the pressure of the enemy's thousands of groups, which continues to try to infiltrate residential buildings and cut off our supply routes. However, there is no encirclement or blocking of cities, we are doing everything to ensure logistics," says Syrsky.

According to him, additional units, weapons and equipment, including UAVs, will be deployed to the defense of the agglomeration.

Syrsky also stated that in Pokrovsk is home to the special forces of the GUR and units of the Special Operations Forces.
