Israel continues to prepare for a multi-day attack from Iran, but the authorities may make a preemptive strike. This was announced on August 5 by the Ynet portal.

According to a source in the Israeli government, such a maneuver will be possible only if Iran's positions are quickly detected.

"It largely depends on what kind of attack it will be, where it will be from and what type. It is necessary to make a separation between an attack that takes three to five hours and an attack that takes 12 minutes. They have both of these abilities," the source told Ynet.

He also stressed that this time Israel will not wait for attacks. It is planned to destroy the missiles even before they hit the country's airspace.
