Non-market transaction: The Valley will have to return the money to the buyer of her apartment

People's Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina will have to return 112 million rubles to the buyer of her apartment, Polina Lurie. This was stated by Alexander Khaminsky, a lawyer and head of the Law Enforcement Center in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

Khaminsky recalled that one of the arguments of the singer's defense was doubts about the compliance of the apartment's value with market prices. Lurie paid 114 million rubles for the actress's apartment, while similar apartments in the same building were sold for 190 million rubles.

According to the lawyer, a simple price comparison in a popular aggregator cannot serve as unconditional proof of the non-market nature of the transaction.

"If the decision of the court of first instance remains unchanged, the Valley will be forced to return 112 million rubles to Lurie," the lawyer told RIA Novosti.

As EADaily reported, in the summer of 2024, scammers put up an apartment in the Valley for auction. After that, they tried to break into the artist's apartment, claiming that it was their property. In parallel, the singer's Instagram account was hacked❶. Fraudsters began to publish messages on behalf of Dolina in support of Ukraine and with calls to donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A criminal case was opened on this fact, the actress herself was recognized as a victim, and her apartment was seized. Several participants of the fraudulent scheme were gradually detained, who have now been arrested. Later, by a court decision, the fraudsters were ordered to pay 69 million rubles in favor of the singer.

Four defendants were detained in the criminal case, one of them was involved in three more frauds in the metropolitan region totaling 10 million rubles.

Last week, the Khamovnichesky court of Moscow returned the apartment to Dolina. The defendant's ownership of the disputed property has been terminated and recognized by Larisa Dolina. Lurie's counterclaim for the singer's eviction was rejected by the court.
