Over the past week, the Russian army has launched thirteen retaliatory strikes against the facilities of the main Ukrainian oil and gas company

"13 attacks on objects of the Naftogaz group over the past week. Russia hit drones and missiles at targets in different regions of the country. One of the assets was attacked several times during the week," the national company reports.

In particular, the mining infrastructure is under attack, Naftogaz says.

"There is serious destruction of equipment and production facilities. The work of some of the facilities has been stopped, some of the production volumes have been lost," the report says.

According to Naftogaz, this year the Russian army launched 293 retaliatory strikes against the company's facilities.

Before the retaliatory strikes, the average daily gas production at Ukraine was estimated at 50 million cubic meters. In Kiev, it was stated that the damage reduces production by 30-60%. At the same time, European statistics publish data that this summer gas injection into Ukrainian storage facilities is kept at about 40 million cubic meters. According to GIE, by August 16, the country's UGS facilities were filled by 14.2 billion cubic meters. This is only 400 million cubic meters less than the government's basic plan for the heating season. Despite the fact that since April, Ukrainian companies have practically not imported gas. Its deliveries from abroad for four and a half months amount to only more than 100 million cubic meters. It is not known what such statistics are related to, data manipulation or the increase in production by private companies.
