Swedish activist Greta Thunberg is being humiliated and tortured in every possible way in an Israeli prison, a complaint will be filed with the UN about this. This was stated by representatives of Swedish activists from the Sumud Flotilla, the TT news agency reports today, October 5.
"They are protected by international law. They testify that Greta Thunberg was pulled by the hair and forced to kiss the Israeli flag. These are serious allegations that need to be investigated. I intend to report these human rights violations to the relevant UN bodies," said Sena Elikuchuk, who spoke with eyewitnesses of what happened.
As EADaily reported, Turkish journalist and activist of the Sumud fleet Ersin Celik, who claimed that the Israeli military mocked eco-activist Greta Thunberg, had previously reported mistreatment of Thunberg.
On August 31, Thunberg, along with more than 300 activists from 44 countries, set sail from Barcelona in order to draw attention to Israel's crimes against the Palestinians. Commenting on this fact, Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir said that he would put Thunberg in prison for terrorists.
On October 3, the Israeli Navy detained all vessels of the Global Sumuda Flotilla (GSF).
