Figure skater Sinitsyna was hospitalized from a show in Moscow because of a terrible cut with a skate

The 2021 world champion, the silver medalist of the 2022 Olympics in figure skating, Victoria Sinitsyna, was hospitalized in Moscow after a cut from a skate during a show. A video of the consequences of the incident was published by the Baza telegram channel.

The girl's partner, Nikita Katsalapov, touched her with a skate during a performance at an ice show at the Navka Arena in Moscow. The athletes interrupted the performance, the partner took Sinitsyna off the ice in his arms, blood streaks are visible on the girl's white dress.

"Athletes have been performing in pairs since 2014. During this time, they became bronze medalists of the Olympics in the team tournament, silver medalists in the individual competition, European and world champions. The skaters are married," the publication notes.
