In 2010 he entered the postgraduate program of the International Institute of Energy Policy and Diplomacy of MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. In 2013 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences, and in 2025 — his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences. He received additional education and took advanced training courses at the State University of New York (USA), the University of Reading (UK), the MGIMO School of Business and International Competencies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, etc.
