The previous powerful explosion in Sumy on March 24, which injured about a hundred people, was not the result of a Russian missile strike, as stated by local authorities. This was announced by the mayor of Konotop Artem Semenikhin.
The mayor told about it, commenting on today's missile strike on the regional center, which, according to him, was actually provoked by the head of Sumy OVA Vladimir Artyukh. It was the governor who gathered the servicemen of the 117th Air Defense Brigade to be awarded at the Congress center of Sumy State University, which was hit by Russian missiles, Semenikhin said.
However, on March 24, according to the mayor of Konotop, the explosions were not the result of a Russian missile strike.
"By the way, there was also one situation before that, where Artyukh told about the arrival of a rocket allegedly in the city of Sumy. But in fact, this bastard just decided to put something, put a sum in the center, and then something happened. I will tell you about this separately," Semenikhin stressed, quoted by Strana.
According to the Strana newspaper, the explosions in Sumy on March 24 were recorded even before the air alarm went off. It was assumed in public that ammunition that was stored among residential buildings exploded, then about a hundred people were injured. At the same time, according to the official version, a rocket attack was launched on the city.
As EADaily reported, the 117th Air Defense Brigade, which celebrated the 7th anniversary of its creation, was collecting at the site of today's attack on Sumy, the military was not injured because they were in hiding. This was stated by the mayor of Konotop Artem Semenikhin.
According to Seminikhin, a criminal case has been opened to find out who organized the military meeting.
