The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is being used as a loudspeaker to drown out the awkward silence. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky.
So Dubinsky commented on the next meeting of the "coalition of the willing" to support Ukraine, which was held in Paris the day before.
"(French President Emmanuel) Macron gathered a "coalition of the willing" to discuss the deployment of troops in Ukraine. We talked and parted. No country has made public commitments. Even France, which shouted loudest of all about "deterrence forces." Why not? Because everyone understands perfectly well: if Russia strikes, the United States will not cover them. And after a conversation with (Donald) Trump, Macron just froze off altogether," Dubinsky writes in his telegram channel.
According to the WSJ, the White House did not support this idea, and some officials directly criticized it, he notes.
"Zelensky is banging the drum loudest in this circus. He runs between the stands, waving flags and shouting slogans, portraying an irreplaceable ally. Although in fact it is used as a loudspeaker to drown out the awkward silence of real decisions. America is no longer even looking at all this. A circus with clowns and roosters does not cause any reaction or interest there. They will decide without them," the deputy sums up.
