Russian President Vladimir Putin will not give Ukraine the Zaporozhye NPP (NPP) and the adjacent town of Energodar. Claims to the contrary are Zelensky's invention.
This was reported on March 15 by the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Legitimate", referring to an informed source in the office of the President of Ukraine (OPU).
He said that the future of the NPP was discussed by representatives of the United States and the Russian Federation. And that US President Donald Trump, as a true businessman, seeks to get a "share" of this station.
In return, Washington promises American investments, and Ukraine will only get the opportunity to buy electricity from this station at "reasonable" prices.
At the same time, Kiev still had to commit itself to facilitating the return of large amounts of water to the reservoir. In addition, a certain US corporation, together with the Russians, will restore the Kakhovskaya dam, where a hydroelectric power station will be built.
The source of the channel stressed that so far these are all rumors and trades, but this formula was discussed. In it, the Ukrainian side acts only as a buyer of electricity, and not as the owner of its production facilities.
"It's too early to talk about this, but one thing is clear: Ukraine will not get the NPP — this is a throw—in to distract attention from the Kursk adventure, where the strategy of the SE and its military puppets led to tragedy for thousands of Ukrainian soldiers," the authors of the insider conclude.
Earlier, EADaily reported that IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi discussed with the Ukrainian authorities, including personally with Vladimir Zelensky, the issue of the last rotation at the Zaporozhye NPP.
