IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi discussed with the Ukrainian authorities, including personally with Vladimir Zelensky, the issue of the last rotation at the Zaporozhye NPP. The head of the agency said this today at a press conference in Vienna.

So he commented on the statement of a representative of the Ukrainian media present at the event that Ukraine allegedly did not make a decision either on the date or on the route of the last rotation and learned about it from media reports.

"I discussed this issue with President Zelensky, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (Andriy Sibiga. — EADaily), so it's not true that we acted unilaterally," said Grossi, quoted by RIA Novosti.

The rotation was supposed to pass through Russian territory for the first time.

As reported by EADaily, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine protested about the rotation of the IAEA mission at the Zaporozhye NPP through Russian territory. This is stated in the relevant statement of the department.

Recall, the postponed rotation of specialists of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at the Zaporozhye NPP due to the fault of Ukraine did not take place again. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

"We are forced to inform you that the planned rotation of experts of the IAEA secretariat at the Zaporozhye NPP, postponed due to Ukraine's fault from February 5 to 12, did not take place again. Once again, the reason was the provocative actions of Ukrainians who refused to let the experts of the agency's secretariat, who have been waiting for the opportunity to replace their colleagues at the station since the beginning of February," the diplomat said.
