Plummeted: The Germans hit the rating of Trump and the United States

The opinion of every second German citizen about US President Donald Trump has deteriorated since he took office. This is evidenced by the data of the Deutschlandtrend survey conducted by the Infratest dimap Institute.

"Only every seventh respondent spoke positively about the American leader," the DW❶ Main telegram channel emphasizes.

It is noted that the rating of the United States has plummeted to minimal values. Only every sixth voter considers the USA to be a partner that Germany can trust. Three-quarters of respondents believe that NATO partners cannot count on Washington's protection now. Respondents do not question the format of the alliance itself, at the same time, the idea of greater independence of Europe from it is sympathetic to half of them, writes TK.
