The outrageous behavior of Ukrainians towards Poles is due to the fact that we ourselves allowed it. This opinion was expressed by Polish political video blogger Radoslaw Piwowczyk.
The publicist analyzed the dubious behavior of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi and a Ukrainian journalist positioning himself as a "historian", Vakhtang Kipiani, who threatened with death the Polish presidential candidate from the Confederation party, Slawomir Mentzen, who spoke in Lviv with sharp criticism of the cult of the Ukrainian war criminal Bandera.
"Hostile, contemptuous attitude towards Poland from Ukraine is not an isolated case. This is the result of the fact that the Poles did not indicate their place to the Ukrainians in advance. They did not set strict conditions. They did not expect anything in return for the support of Ukraine, because yes — to some extent the support of Ukraine, so that it would survive and be a buffer between Poland and It is in the interests of our country, but not in the interests of our country, to weaken our state and put the interests of Ukraine above the interests of Poland, and this has been done for a long time," stated Pivovarchik.
According to the author, "it is not in the Polish interests to unconditionally support Ukraine, and then be surprised that Ukrainians spit on our country."
"Well, yes, they spit. Since we have allowed this, they behave as we see on the example of this historian [Kipiani], who threatened Slawomir Mentzen with death," concluded Radoslaw Pivovarchik.
EADaily reminds that the candidate for the presidency of Poland from the "Confederation" Slawomir Mentzen was also added to the database of the Bandera organization "Peacemaker".
