The newly appointed director of the US FBI, Cash Patel, decided to keep up with the new US President Donald Trump in determination and staged a massive sweep in his own department.
As the Military Observer Telegram channel reports, one of the first orders of the new head of the FBI was the "expulsion" of 1,500 employees of the central office in Washington to the Bureau's field offices across the country.
It is obvious that in this way Patel is implementing Trump's policy of cleaning up the "Washington swamp" from those who are capable of sabotaging his decisions.
It is worth remembering that it was the staff of the FBI central office that conducted searches at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in August 2022. After that, American federal prosecutors initiated a criminal investigation against Trump.
