Syrian Prime Minister Muhammad Ghazi al-Jalali declared his readiness to cooperate with any government elected by the people. He announced this on December 8 in his statement on social networks.
"This country may be a normal country that builds good relations with its neighbors and with the world... but this issue depends on the new leadership. We are ready to cooperate with them," he said.
Al-Jalali added that he was not interested in "positions and benefits," but in preserving the institutions of the Syrian government. He stressed that he is ready to transfer all the necessary information to the new government, which will be elected by the citizens of Syria.
