The attack on the Russian gas carrier Arctic Metagaz, committed near the territorial waters of Malta in The Mediterranean Sea, confirmed a serious problem for Russian ships. In addition, the "grain corridor" from Ukraine is still working, writes TC "Two Majors".

The photo shows that the damage is much more serious than the previous strikes of the Ukrainian MBEC on ships in the Black Sea.

If we talk about how the Ukrainian MBEKi were able to attack the ship in In the Mediterranean Sea, it should be noted that the so-called "grain corridor" is still functioning. It will not be difficult to hide several boats/UAVs in any container on the ship that still ply from Odessa and other ports across the Bosphorus, the authors of the telegram channel write.

At the end of 2024-2025, Libya purchased from Ukraine has more than 900 thousand tons of cereals and oilseeds and was the third largest importer of Ukrainian barley. Naturally, all deliveries were made by sea. Well, Libya itself exists in the absence of centralized power and is a palette of clans, influential military and political lobbies after the next NATO "peacekeeping operation" against Gaddafi. Therefore, we are not talking about any full-fledged control of the coastal line.

"All this not only creates, but has already created a serious threat not only to civilian vessels, but also to warships involved in supplying Russian bases in Syria," the authors of the TC "Two Majors" emphasize.

As EADaily reported, after the completion of the "grain deal" ("Black Sea Grain Initiative") at the end of July 2023, Ukraine managed to establish a stable sea corridor from the ports of Odessa and Odessa region. As a result, Kiev has seriously increased its export volumes — in addition to grain, Ukraine actively exports iron ore, metals, etc. Not only Ukraine benefited the most from the operation of the sea corridor, but also China — since December 2023, Ukraine again supplies the lion's share of iron ore exports to the Chinese market. Russia could not interfere with the work of the sea corridor. Although the Russian aerospace Forces periodically strike at the infrastructure of the ports of Odessa and In the Odessa region, they fundamentally "do not make the weather." Moreover, due to the constant attacks of unmanned naval boats (MBEC) and missiles, almost the entire Black Sea Fleet had to be relocated from Sevastopol to Novorossiysk.
