The star of the movie "Pretty Woman", American actor Richard Gere sold his estate in Connecticut (USA) for $ 10.75 million. This is reported by Mansion Global with reference to property documents.

Gere and his wife, Spanish publicist Alejandra Silva, purchased real estate on a plot of 128.6 thousand square meters two years ago from musician Paul Simon and his wife Edie Brickell, paying $ 10.8 million.

There are two houses on the plot — the main house with five bedrooms, built in 1938, and a cottage with three bedrooms. There is also a patio, a swimming pool, perennial gardens, forest trails, a stream surrounded by rocks, a natural pond and a waterfall.

Gere sold the estate at a small discount from the original price, as the couple decided to move to Spain.

Before moving to Connecticut Gear owned a house in the famous enclave of Pound Ridge, New York, which he sold in May 2022 for $ 28 million.
